Hillsboro is in the Portland area, with both ski trails and the beach an hour away. 
This diverse city has become known as the “Silicon Forest.” Large employers like Intel give the city its high-tech reputation, and new jobs are moving in.
Hillsboro is also a place where residents can stroll through a historic downtown shopping area, visit the weekly Saturday Farmer’s Market, watch a sports game at Hillsboro Stadium, or visit nearby wineries and golf courses. –B.D.
